SNOW LIZARD PRODUCTS WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Product Warranty Term

All Snow Lizard Products (SLP) products come with a one-year Limited Warranty from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. No warranty, expressed or implied, is made regarding any product’s merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Return Policy

SnowLizard is dedicated to bringing you, our customer, the most rugged waterproof and shockproof iPhone cases and the most experience-enhancing accessories. Your SnowLizard case, charger or accessory is covered by a full 45-Day Satisfaction Guarantee policy. All SnowLizard Products purchased from SnowLizard may be returned within 45 days of purchase, as described below, to ensure that customer satisfaction is made on every purchase.

SnowLizard will accept returns within 45 days of the original purchase if the SnowLizard Product was purchased directly from the SnowLizard online store. IF THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED FROM A RETAILER OR OTHER RESELLER OF SNOWLIZARD PRODUCTS, THEN YOU MUST RETURN THE SNOWLIZARD PRODUCT TO SUCH RETAILER/RESELLER, IN WHICH CASE YOUR RETURN WILL BE COVERED BY THE RETURN/REFUND POLICY OF THAT RETAILER/RESELLER.

Please contact Customer Service via email using support@snowlizardproducts.com. You will be asked the reason for your return and you will need to provide your original order number and payment information. Accordingly, please have this information readily available. Snow Lizard will verify that your return is being made during the applicable 45-day return period. Once your order has been verified, you will receive an e-mail which will include instructions for the return. In no event will SnowLizard accept any shipment that is sent C.O.D.

Please note that SnowLizard cannot accept returned Snow Lizard Products in packages without a warranty claim being filed first.

RETURNING A SNOWLIZARD PRODUCT WITHOUT A WARRANTY CLAIM BEING FILED FIRST, WAIVES ALL OF SNOWLIZARD’S RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER THE RETURN POLICY, EVEN IF PROOF OF DELIVERY IS AVAILABLE, DUE TO OUR INABILITY TO MATCH YOUR PURCHASE WITH THE RETURNED SNOWLIZARD PRODUCT.

It is advised to use an insured carrier service capable of providing a tracking number. Please provide us with return shipping address information. As part of the requirements for this Return Policy, the Snow Lizard Product return must be received by us at the address specified in the instructions we provided you with, in the original and resalable condition and in the original packaging.

For approved returns, Snow Lizard will refund to you the purchase price you paid for the returned Snow Lizard item(s) less shipping charges (which are non-refundable except for returns made under the Warranty) and less a 15% percent restocking fee. Refunds will be issued through PayPal ONLY and you shall be asked to provide your PayPal email ID. Please allow 5-7 business days after receipt of your return for your credit to be issued. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of the credit once it has been issued.

Payment Policies for Purchases from Snow Lizard

Purchase using Credit Card

When you place your order using a credit card, SnowLizard authorizes your purchase by verifying that your card has the available funds. SnowLizard then "captures" or takes the funds for purchased Snow Lizard products, or as payment for Pre-Orders when stated as such. Please note that if your purchase does not complete for any reason, such as your card being declined by our Card Processor or your bank, the set-aside funds may continue to be unavailable temporarily, but will not be taken by SnowLizard. Refunds are only issues through PayPal.

Purchase using PayPal

When you place your order using PayPal, the purchase amount is deducted from your PayPal-associated account immediately.

Policy Regarding Damaged Items

When you receive your SnowLizard Product purchase, please inspect your package carefully. If you receive a damaged SnowLizard Product, notify the delivery company immediately. Do not discard any of the box, shipping label, packing material, or broken items. The delivery company must pick up the damaged goods and provide you with a claim number. You may provide us the claim number so we can follow up on the claim status - this may take up to several weeks. We are unable to send out replacement items until the claim is approved, or a payment is made for the 2nd shipment. If the delivery company accepts responsibility for the claim, we will promptly issue a refund to your credit card once SnowLizard receives reimbursement from the delivery company.

Policy Regarding Backorders, Pre-sales and Delivery Delays

Backorders

Backorders will be shipped when SnowLizard Product becomes available. Some items may require prepayment.

Pre-Sales

Pre-sale listings consist of items that are offered before they're available to the general public, such as products currently in development. These items are often not in our possession or immediate control, such as products still in the development phase where delays can occur.

Products listed as a Pre-Sales will:

  • Clearly state estimated time of arrival which is subject to change. Please check product listing to see any changes to product availability.

  • Clearly indicate that the product is a pre-sale item.

Delivery Delays

Some SnowLizard Products online may not be in stock and may require additional time for shipment from factory to be received and processed. Therefore, the shipping options selected during the order process only pertains to purchases of SnowLizard products with confirmed availability at time of purchase. PreOrder purchases will indicate estimated ship dates and ongoing updates for availability.

Dispute Resolution Policy

SnowLizard agrees to use reasonable efforts and reasonable methods to resolve any disputes or discrepancies that arise regarding you and SnowLizard. As part of the dispute resolution process, you also acknowledge and agree that you as the Authorized User or the Cardholder will not initiate any chargeback or claim procedure with our Merchant Bank or your creditor without first obtaining a special claim confirmation number from us to verify that you contacted SnowLizard and provided us with the opportunity to resolve the claim or dispute, even if we were ultimately unable to provide a resolution.

Exclusions and limitations

By purchasing at SLP, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review, understand, and accept these terms and conditions in full. Certain state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the disclaimers, exclusions or limitations may not apply to you, and you might have additional rights.

What Isn’t Covered

SLP does not warranty any product failure due to misuse, failure to follow operating instructions, abuse, use with improper or faulty equipment or because you broke it- don’t try to fix anything yourself. It doesn’t cover incidental damages nor do we warranty or provide service or support for any third-party products, ie- iPhone, Droids, iPods, iPad, etc. SLP will only warranty SLP manufactured products.
